Abstract: International audience ; Bilingual forms of teaching and learning have become common practice in Germany. However, the idea of teaching mathematics bilingually has not been totally accepted yet. The ongoing study aims to investigate how young learners taught bilingually use and develop mathematical language in both of their target languages, with a focus on the usefulness of the communication tool PriMaPodcast. Parts of the research project and the interactive process of producing mathematical audio podcasts are presented.
